The Weight We Carried

Nick KB’s Debut Solo Album

An Album of Moments.

“I really enjoyed it. It isn't the kind of album that grabs you with loud instruments or flashy solos. Instead, it draws you in with the stories. After listening to all five songs, I realized this isn't just a collection of songs—it's a collection of life experiences.

I especially liked that each song had a purpose: slowing down after working too hard, learning not to compare yourself to others, lost love, honoring your grandpa, and learning to live with grief. By the end, I understood why you called it a "Me" record.

The style surprised me. I expected more of the high-energy musician I see on stage, but this showed a completely different side of you. It felt honest, vulnerable, and genuine. The Americana style really fit the stories you were telling.

I also appreciated that the lyrics were easy to follow. Instead of trying to impress the listener, you let the message be the focus, and I think that made the songs more meaningful.

My favorite part of the album is that it feels authentic. It sounds like you wrote what you truly believed and experienced, not what you thought people wanted to hear. I walked away feeling like I knew you a little better as a person, not just as a musician.

Thank you again for letting me hear it. I really enjoyed the journey.”
